THAMPALAKAMAM VILLAGERS FACE DISRUPTION AS HEAVY RAINS DAMAGE HOMES

Over the past few days, Trincomalee has been experiencing heavy rainfall, which has disrupted the daily activities of many villagers. The AHRC Thampalakamam Divisional Civil Activist Network reported that on Tuesday (09), 12 houses in Paalampotaru, Thambalakamam, Potkerny, and Kovilladi GN Divisions of the Thambalakamam Divisional Secretariat Division were partially affected by the heavy rains and wind.

The Assistant Director of Disaster Management at Trincomalee District Disaster Management has stated that compensation allowances will be given to the affected victims through the Divisional Secretariat Report.
