On 18th February 2021, a Harvest Festival was held by the women in Senipura village, as part of the "Livelihood and Food Sustainability" (AHRC-Covid-19 Response) project implemented by the AHAM Humanitarian Resource Center (AHRC) with financial support from AJWS. The project provided inputs for livelihood activities to women groups interested in organic farming in Senipura village of Kandalai Divisional Secretary Division in Trincomalee district, Eastern Province, during the year 2020.

The Harvest Festival celebrated the rice harvest, which was one of the livelihood activities provided under the project. The event was presided over by Mr. T. Krushan, Field Coordinator of the Internal Humanitarian Resource Center (AHRC) Kandalai.
