WORKSHOP ON YOUTH LEADERSHIP

Youth capacity building and network strengthening to provide conflict prevention support in the Batticaloa and Trincomalee districts of Sri Lanka's Eastern Province.

The first training program for Batticaloa youth began on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 9 a.m. at Sarvodaya Hall. The project organizer hosted a reception following the opening ceremony. Following that, the keynote speech was delivered by the AHRC conjunctive. He outlined the AHRC organization, its works, the project's activities, the project's aim, and the succeeding activities in the press release. The Batticaloa District Planning Officer, Coordinator, and Deputy Coordinator then presented the participants with ID cards. Following that, the AHRC Deputy Coordinator briefed the Resource Manager and officially turned over the venue.

he second training workshop on conflict resolution for Batticaloa youth started on Saturday 13.08.2022 at 9 am at Sarvodaya Mandapam. The opening ceremony was followed by a minute of internal worship. This was followed by a reception by the convenor. The Deputy Convenor delivered a keynote speech in which the purpose of this training workshop and the activities behind the training were clarified. Then the event was officially handed over to the resource person. First there was an introduction to the youth.
