MEDIA AWARENESS PROGRAM

The Media Awareness Program was designed to educate and inform local journalists and civil activists about the United Nations systems and the related work of the AHRC. The program aimed to raise awareness of human rights issues and the role that the AHRC plays in addressing them.

Through the program, participants were provided with a comprehensive understanding of the United Nations and its functions, as well as the various human rights mechanisms and instruments available to them. They were also introduced to the work of the AHRC, including its mandate, areas of focus, and ongoing initiatives.
