HR WORKSHOP FOR VILLAGE-LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS - KANTHALE

Today, on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, the third training workshop focusing on human rights and related laws took place at the Tambalagamam Pradeshiya Sabha Hall. This workshop was conducted as part of our ongoing initiative to bolster traditional village-level organizations. It was attended by representatives from village-level organizations in the Kandalai Divisional Secretary Divisions, as well as AHRC Coordinator K. Lavakusarasa, Deputy Contributor A. Madan, and our dedicated staff.

A notable highlight of this event was the participation of Isaideen, the Coordinator of the Human Rights Commission for Trincomalee and Batticaloa Districts, who served as a resource person. Isaideen delivered an enlightening presentation on the subject of human rights, enriching our understanding of this critical topic.
