HR WORKSHOP FOR VILLAGE-LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS IN MUTUR

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen traditional village-level organizations, we conducted the second training workshop on human rights and related laws on Friday, August 25th, 2023, at the Mudur Pradeshiya Sabha hall. This workshop brought together representatives from village-level organizations within the Verugal and Muthur Divisional Secretary Divisions, alongside AHRC Deputy Convener Aghurasa Madan and our dedicated staff.

One of the key highlights of this event was the participation of Isaideen, the Coordinator of the Human Rights Commission of Trincomalee and Batticaloa District, who served as a resource person. Isaideen delivered an informative presentation on human rights, enhancing our understanding and knowledge in this vital area.
