DONATION OF FISHING EQUIPMENT TO ENHANCE LIVELIHOODS

Today (23), a significant event took place in the morning at the Trincomalee Municipal Corporation Hall, organized by AHRC (AHAM Humanitarian Resource Center) and PCCJ (Provincial Community Coordinating Joint) with the financial support of the North-Eastern Coordinating Committee. The purpose of this event was to support and uplift the livelihoods of fishermen engaged in shrimp fishing.

During the event, various activities and presentations were conducted by key individuals, including the Cooperative Development Officer of the Muthur Region, AHRC representatives, PCCJ coordinators, and officers. The event aimed to encourage and empower the fishermen by donating fishing equipment and providing them with necessary resources to enhance their fishing practices and ultimately improve their livelihoods.
