DISTRIBUTION OF DRY FOOD PACKETS TO FISHERMEN

In order to support the fishermen engaged in the shrimp fishing industry in Mudur Khataiparichan village and improve their livelihoods, AHRC (AHAM Humanitarian Resource Center) and PCCJ (Peoples Collectives for Climate Justice) organized an initiative with the financial support of the North-East Coordinating Committee. As part of this effort, on Friday (23), fishing equipment was provided to 40 fishermen.

The aim of the initiative was to encourage the fishermen and equip them with the necessary tools to enhance their fishing activities. The distribution of fishing equipment took place on Friday, and the recipients were able to receive their packages on Sunday (25).

By providing fishing equipment, AHRC and PCCJ aimed to empower the fishermen and contribute to the improvement of their livelihoods in the shrimp fishing industry. This initiative was made possible through the support and collaboration of the North-East Coordinating Committee.
