Capacity Development Workshop Empowers Valaichenai Civil Organizations

A transformative personality development training session for civil organizations in Valaichenai took place on September 22, 2023, at the Valaichenai Pradeshiya Sabha library.

This initiative was spearheaded by the AHRC (Aham Humanitarian Resource Center) as part of its "Creating a Platform for Democratic Stakeholders" project. The workshop saw active participation from 45 members of civil organizations operating under the Valaichenai Divisional Secretariat, along with officials from the Valaichenai Divisional Council.

The primary objective of this training was to equip participants with essential skills in personality development, enabling them to effectively address issues specific to their respective areas and work toward sustainable solutions. The training was led by Mr. M. Mirunalan, an experienced and knowledgeable resource person in the field.

Through interactive sessions and valuable insights, participants gained the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance their personal and professional growth. The workshop encouraged self-awareness, effective communication, and the development of leadership qualities, all of which are critical for driving positive change within civil organizations.
